If someone had asked me back in 1998, when I started at Combined as a Lease Administrator, if I thought I’d still be at the company 28 years later as an Executive Vice President heading up Retail Asset Management, I would have told them they were crazy and that there was no way that was in my future! To be honest, I didn’t take the job because I wanted to be in real estate (I didn’t know anything about real estate) or because I thought it would be some fantastic launch to a fabulous career (which it has been), I took the job because I was looking for a way out of rural Pennsylvania. But somehow, someone at Combined saw something in a 27-year-old kid with no real estate or finance background and took a chance. Yes, yes of course the answer to why I’ve stayed so long is the people. Some amazing people. But amazing people only stick around because they thrive in the culture. And culture is built and nurtured by leadership.


This career has been more than just a professional accomplishment; it’s been a testament to the incredible people and culture that make this company truly special. It’s an environment where growth, collaboration, and innovation thrive, and where great people stick around because they know they’re valued. My colleagues have been more than coworkers—they’ve been mentors, collaborators, and friends who’ve celebrated wins and tackled challenges together.
