Construction Begins at Scout® on the Circle, a New Mixed-Use Development in the City of Fairfax

Washington, DC (February 28, 2018) Combined Properties, Incorporated is pleased to announce that construction has commenced at Scout® on the Circle, a new 551,000 square foot mixed-use development located in the City of Fairfax, Virginia. 

A groundbreaking event for the project took place last Thursday (2-22-18).  Numerous dignitaries from the City of Fairfax, Fairfax County, vendors for the project and community residents joined in the celebration.  “Scout on the Circle is an exciting mixed-use development, destined to be a premier property in the market” said Ronald S. Haft, Chairman of Combined Properties.

Scout on the Circle includes three buildings comprised of a single-story 54,000 square foot Giant Food and two, five-story buildings featuring 400 luxury units and 29,000 square feet of additional restaurants and shops.  It is a transit-oriented project, within one mile of the Vienna Metrorail station, and is prominently located at Fairfax Circle, flanked by Routes 50 and 29, providing great visibility and easy access to major highways.

Demolition of the former Fairfax Circle Plaza began this week and the project is slated for completion in 2021.
